The Top 100 seeks to uncover those Irish companies who have the strongest desire and determination to succeed and have already demonstrated their capabilities and intentions in this regard. We were taken aback by the number of entries from every county in Ireland, which highlights the thriving entrepreneurial environment across the country. After an intense deliberation, our judges selected the 100 finalists and we are delighted to announce these today.
In the face of significant economic headwinds, it has been really encouraging to see so many entrepreneurs grow their businesses and increase employment over the last 12 months. We are especially pleased to see such a large proportion of female founders in this year’s cohort, as well as a disproportionately high number of founders under the age of 30. The future is indeed very bright in their hands.
We will follow their progress with interest and would like to sincerely thank them and the hundreds of other highly promising early-stage companies in Ireland for their bravery and contribution to the Irish economy – they are what makes this country so great.
